Art as a transparent sonnet - Monica Rus

Ovidius University, Fine Arts Faculty. Constanta

No matter how hard we rush today, our fear is that we do not have enough time. Is this one of the most heard replies today? I have no time! Yes, it seems that time has become precious and insufficient and for this reason, we forget to truly live. We forget to enjoy small and simple things, the space in which we live, the nature, the people around us, our friends, the present moment. I have been thought about transparency, color and light, all my life. These are three things that attract my curiosity and I have been particularly preoccupied about lately. They are part of our life, but most of the time we do not realize this. Would it be necessary if we could look at our experiences at the end of each day as if we were looking at an X-ray? Do we understand the value of moments, what is important to us and the space we live in? My photo collage is an urge to meditate, feel and dream. It is a desire to awaken in each one an urgent need to savor the present moment, to let the light pass through us, to be aware of transparency and to transcend reality.
