Looking (to photograph) and Doing (to sense and manipulate)

 

Starting from personal experiences or the daily journey, an assignment was launched to students who attended the Textile Art subject (2019-2020).

To create a visual patchwork was the task to evoke textile concepts such as: textures, patterns, intertwining, twisting, wrinkling, pleat, sew, baste, build, accumulate, embroider, spin, weave, crease... was the quest. To relate, “textile thinking” with ways of looking such as photography, was the project.
